Gaia Youth Programmes
Gaia Education’s partners around the World are running many varied, inspiring and fun youth Programmes!
Any youth programmes inspired by Gaia Education’s Design for Sustainability or GaiaYES curricula and aligned with our values can use our ‘Inspired By’ logo.
Youth Programmes with Gaia-certified facilitators, covering a minimum of 40 hours, all 20 modules of our Design for Sustainability curriculum and 10 hours of Design studio, plus a few other requirements, are eligible for our official certification.

TOOLKIT FOR YOUTH ECO-ACTIVISM

This toolkit reflects a holistic and transformative pedagogy which draws from a range of learning theories to promote eco-activism. It features many system thinking models and nature connection methods, providing community formation, action-orientated and resilience-building tools for the youth. A narrative format encourages users to progress linearly along six phases of eco-activism, yet there are mechanisms for more experienced activists to navigate the toolkit according to pedagogy type.
mini-EDEs
Our new mini-EDEs offer the possibility of experiencing the taste of a full EDE, maintaining the core values and following the 4D mandala, but in a shorter version.
Mini-EDEs are for everybody and particularly suited to young people. They can be held as youth camps or school clubs.
